Create Your Own Fundraiser

The Mississippi SIDS Alliance depends almost entirely on the generous support of Mississippians to donate money for education programs, bereavement support services, publications, and funding for research to help prevent SIDS.  Every year we sponsor the "Walk for Babies" and the "Anna Clare Memorial Golf Tournament," but we need your continued support.

We receive inquiries from the public and from families who have lost a loved one wanting to contribute but do not know what they can do.  We encourage anyone interested in educating and research for SIDS to start their own fundraiser. 

Many families host their own bake sale at their church, or hold a marathon/bike race, sponsor a bowling tournament, hold a raffle, wash cars, host a yard/garage sale, etc.  Any type of fundraiser you can think of would be helpful.  This type of fundraising helps to keep the families busy and makes them feel that they are helping to educate future parents.
